Trot Insider Interview with Walter Case
21 11 2008Here from Standardbred Canada’s Trot Insider is the text of a good piece by Bob Carson in which he interviews Walter Case. It is a MUST READ for all of us who are debating his fate.
Take a look and then let me know what you all think– whether your views of Case have changed as a result of his comments. Here’s one back-and-forth from the Carson interview:
Carson: Did you ever believe your career was done?
Case: To be honest, I thought my career was done as far as driving a horse. …
why isnt anyone complaining about ledford at the meadows at least we know he dopes his horses and was tossed out to be let back in as all the others in the buisness, why should you be able to say if a man should or not be raceing there are alot of people who shouldnt be BUT still are when the industery gets one governing body maybe thats when ALL will be as it should be. case is a good driver and most likely will be for along time i say give him a chance he done his time let him be
Walter Case of course should be allowed to drive horses. He did NOT DRUG HORSES. Did his time for a Domestic. Ledford on the other hand is a scumbag that I too cannot believe is driving horses again. When I saw him driving at Ocean Downs for Pennies, I was appalled. Seeing him race at a track that has waited a lifetime to get its purse structure in line with the better tracks, is CRIMINAL. Ledford driving againg is disgusting.
